What to know about Huntington statements
Two years in the Service Center
Statements stay in the Service Center for up to two years. Huntington emails you when each one is ready, which makes it easy to save the PDFs as they arrive and keep your own archive. Saved files convert at any time, and a batch upload flags any missing month.
Download or statement?
The transaction download is quick for recent activity and already comes as a CSV. A statement gives you a fixed period with opening and closing balances, which is what a reconciliation is built on. Converted statement rows are checked against those balances before you use them. Commercial clients also have BAI2 files, which are a different route again.
Paperless Preferred
In the Service Center's paperless settings, Paperless Preferred switches every eligible account to online statements at once. If you're starting to keep digital records for several accounts, that's the simplest way to make sure each one produces a PDF you can convert later.

Accounting tip
If you already pull recent months through Huntington's QuickBooks download, import converted statements only for earlier periods, so nothing goes in twice. Xero users can load the Xero-ready CSV through the bank statement import, mapping columns on the first upload.
