Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use PDF2TEXT, including document extraction, workspaces, exports, API access, export packs, and subscriptions.
Use of the Service
You are responsible for the documents you upload, the rights needed to process them, your account credentials, and your use of extracted results. Do not use PDF2TEXT for unlawful, harmful, infringing, abusive, or security-bypassing activity.
Document Extraction Results
OCR and AI extraction results can contain mistakes, omissions, formatting errors, or low-confidence fields. Review outputs before relying on them for accounting, legal, compliance, financial, operational, or customer-facing work.
Plans, Export Packs, and Billing
Paid export packs, subscriptions, included pages, monthly reset rules, feature access, and prices are shown at checkout or inside the product. Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Taxes, card checks, invoices, and payment retries may be handled by Stripe.
Our refund policy explains when we refund a payment: wrong numbers reported within 7 days of payment, paid conversions that fail, and how cancelling a monthly plan works. Read the refund policy.
Accounts and API Keys
Keep your login credentials and API keys secure. Activity from your account or keys may be treated as your activity. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, investigate abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
Third-Party Integrations
PDF2TEXT can connect to accounting software you use, such as QuickBooks Online. Connecting is optional: you authorize it with the software's provider and can disconnect at any time.
You are responsible for having the right to connect the account and send data to it. PDF2TEXT files the transactions it sends as uncategorized; review their dates, amounts, accounts, and categories in your accounting software before relying on them for bookkeeping, tax, or reporting.
Your use of the third-party software is governed by its provider's own terms and privacy statement. PDF2TEXT is not responsible for that software's availability or changes, and may change or stop an integration when the provider changes its terms or its API. Our privacy policy explains what the QuickBooks Online integration sends, reads, and stores. Read the privacy policy.
QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. PDF2TEXT is an independent service and is not endorsed by Intuit.
Availability and Changes
PDF2TEXT may change features, limits, models, integrations, pricing, or availability over time. Public self-serve plans do not include a published uptime SLA unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Data Handling
Our privacy policy explains how we handle uploaded documents, extraction results, account data, optional analytics, retention, and deletion requests. Read the privacy policy.
