Bank statement to Excel

Convert a bank statement PDF to Excel, one sheet per statement

Upload a PDF, scan or photo of a bank statement and download an .xlsx workbook: the account details at the top, then one row per transaction with its date, description, debit, credit and running balance. Several months uploaded together come back as one workbook.

Page 1 free, no sign-up to see it; just an email to download. The whole document is one payment: $3 up to 5 pages, $9 up to 25, priced by page count above that. No subscription.

Several statements? Drop up to 100 at once: one payment for all of them, priced by their total pages.

What gets extracted

What the Excel workbook contains

Each statement gets its own sheet. The top lists the bank, the account and the statement period, the transaction table keeps the statement's own columns, and the summary below it holds the opening and closing balances.

From PDF statement to Excel workbook

  1. Upload one statement, or several months at once

  2. Check the rows beside each page and correct any cell

  3. Choose Export as Excel

  4. Open the workbook: one sheet for each statement

Statements that fall apart when pasted into Excel

  • Copy and paste puts the date, description and amounts of a transaction in one cell

  • A description that wraps onto a second line becomes a second row

  • Page headers and carried-forward totals land in the middle of the data

  • A scanned statement pastes nothing at all: there is no text to copy

FAQ

Common questions

Does each statement get its own sheet?
Yes. Upload several statements together and Export as Excel gives one workbook with a sheet for each, in upload order.
Will the Excel export keep debit and credit columns?
Yes. The workflow is built to keep dates, descriptions, debits, credits, and balances in separate structured fields.
Can I get the same rows for QuickBooks or Xero?
Yes. With a paid statement or a plan, the workbook also gets QuickBooks CSV and Xero CSV sheets, and the export menu has the QuickBooks and Xero files. The bank statement converter page lists every format.
Can I convert scanned bank statements to Excel?
Yes. Upload scanned statements or image files and review the extracted transaction rows before downloading Excel.
