What to know about Truist statements
Consolidated statements
Some customers get one consolidated statement covering several accounts. Switch it to online delivery and every account on it moves to online statements together. For conversion, it means one PDF can hold more than one account, so post each account's rows to the right place when you import, and reconcile each account to its own closing balance.
BB&T and SunTrust statements
Statements from before Truist was formed were issued by BB&T or SunTrust and carry those banks' layouts. They convert the same way. Upload old and new statements together and the period check shows whether the months around the changeover are all there.
Paperless ends mailed checks
Once you go paperless, the bank stops sending paper statements and canceled checks. Recent check images are online for a limited period, with older copies available from the archive on request. The statement itself still lists every check, and that listing is what becomes rows.

Download Services send recent activity to Quicken and QuickBooks. For periods that service doesn't cover, upload the converted CSV in QuickBooks Online or Xero and map the columns. Reconcile each statement to its closing balance before starting the next.
