What to know about Regions Bank statements
Check images at the end
With online statements, images of the fronts of your checks are added at the end of the statement. They lengthen the file but hold no extra transactions, since each check is already listed in the activity. If you only need the transactions, you can leave those trailing pages off before uploading. Paper statements come with reduced images of check fronts instead, with an option for enlarged images of both sides.
Bill pay memos
Bill pay entries can include a memo with payee details. That text stays in the description of its transaction rather than becoming a stray row, which helps when you set up bank rules, match a payment to a vendor bill, or need to show an auditor what a payment was for.
Business credit cards still get paper
Business credit card holders can view statements online, but Regions always mails paper statements too. If your records are the paper copies, scan them; the converted rows are compared with each statement's balances, so a misread figure shows up.
